As of right now, we are planning to reopen June 11th. We have spent the last 16 months rebranding ourselves to go above and beyond with our guests. The current regulations and guidelines by the state and the CDC are just not who we are. Please be patient with us as we choose to reopen a little later when we can give you the experience you love while staying with us! We will reopen with only our private entrance/exterior entrance rooms and suites for your safety as well. Keeping guests as socially-distant as possible.

The Barnstead Inn is quietly situated, yet just a leisurely stroll of two blocks from the Southern Vermont center of Manchester. 14 wonderful rooms, spacious, yet cozy—each with private bath, air conditioning, cable television, individual thermostats, courtesy coffee, wireless Internet access, refrigerators, and comfortable beds, are all tucked into a New England carriage house built in the 1830s—its rugged, weathered beams remain as silent reminders of the past.

The property itself features a garden, terrace, and pool. A continental or buffet breakfast is available every morning at Barnstead.
